You are pretty sure it is a sprain. Now what do you do? Do you call your primary care doctor, or do you head to the nearest ER where you may wait for hours? Why Quick Care is the Answer for Mild to Moderate Bone and Joint Injuries

Injuries happen when you least expect it, and usually the first thing we do is go to the emergency room. But here is what happens if you go to the emergency room with something like a sprain or broken bone, perhaps a dislocated joint. You will sit for hours in the waiting room until an exam room or a bed becomes available for you. Then you will sit for even longer in that cold room until an overworked nurse comes in and asks you questions. Then you may have to wait some more while other patients with more critical needs are cared for.

In many cases, depending on the nature and severity of the injury, you may be directed to see an orthopaedic doctor anyway. That’s why we offer the Quick Care clinic. Our Quick Care clinic offers urgent care for non-life-threatening bone and joint injuries right away. Instead of going to the emergency room, or seeing your primary care doctor for a referral, why not actually go to the orthopaedic doctor to start with? It saves you both time and money, not to mention cutting down the time you spend in pain waiting for treatment.

For urgent orthopaedic care, you don’t need an appointment, just come on in and we will get you taken care of as quickly as possible. Whether the injury just happened, or has occurred within the last 72 hours, we can help. Any injury or condition over 72 hours old will require an appointment with one of our orthopedic specialists. We do not offer routine care through the Quick Care clinic.

We do, however, offer rapid care for a wide range of common orthopedic injuries such as broken bones, sports injuries, sprains, strains, and falls. When you are injured, you want the best care, and we make the most of your time and make sure you receive same day advanced care when you need it most.
