Dr. R. Keith Jarman joined Advanced Bone & Joint in 2019. A native of Missouri, Dr. Jarman completed undergraduate studies at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. His military service as a physician included an internship in Aurora, Colorado, serving as a General Medical Officer near Nuremburg, Germany, completing an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and serving as a Staff Orthopedist at Fort Polk in west central Louisiana.

After completing his military service, Dr. Jarman moved to Dearborn County, Indiana, where he practiced general orthopedics for 23 years, including a solo practice for nearly 10 years. As a general orthopedist, Dr. Jarman is trained in the evaluation and treatment of injuries and conditions of the extremities including fracture care, joint dislocations/instability, tendon procedures, and arthritis procedures, including joint replacement. Dr. Jarman has been board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons since 1996, re-certifying twice.
