Joy Bittle joined Advanced Bone & Joint as a physician assistant in 2018. She works primarily with Dr. Dane Glueck.

She completed her undergraduate studies in 2004 at Lindenwood University in Saint Charles, Missouri, where she graduated with a bachelor’s of science in biology and minor in chemistry. In 2008, Joy obtained her master’s of medical science (ARC-PA accredited) degree from Saint Louis University.

Before coming to Advanced Bone & Joint, Joy served as a physician assistant at St. Anthony’s at Fenton Family Medicine in Fenton, Missouri. There, she assessed, diagnosed, and managed acute and chronic conditions including musculoskeletal injuries; provided preventive women’s health care services; and interpreted laboratory and diagnostic imaging results. Her procedural skills include skin biopsies and wound care, suture removal, and joint injections and aspirations.

A member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Missouri Academy of Physician Assistants (MOAPA), Joy is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She also received NCQA certification for diabetes care in 2014 and 2017.
