Mary Beth Johnson started at Advanced Bone and Joint in 2019, working as a physician assistant in the Ortho Urgent Care Clinic. She has recently transitioned to working primarily with Dr. Colleen E. Glisson.

She first fell in love with orthopedics and sports medicine in high school, where she worked as a student athletic trainer. Mary Beth continued this into college, working at Saint Louis University and traveling with the volleyball and baseball teams.

She graduated from Saint Louis University in 2006 with a bachelor’s of science in investigative and medical science and a minor in biology. In 2008, Mary Beth completed her master’s of medical science (ARC-PA accredited) degree from Saint Louis University.

Mary Beth has experience working in various fields of medicine, but primarily in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as non-surgical orthopedics. She loves orthopedics and has a special interest in sports medicine.

Mary Beth is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Missouri Academy of Physician Assistants (MOAPA). She is also certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
