Samantha J. Bunch, FNP-BC, ONC
Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Samantha J. Bunch joined Advanced Bone and Joint in 2022 as a family nurse practitioner in the Orthopedic Urgent Care Clinic, working in collaboration with Dr. Brandon Larkin.
Samantha obtained her bachelor’s of science in nursing in 2013 from Chamberlain University and went on to work at Shriners Hospitals for Children in the inpatient unit, caring for children with congenital and traumatic orthopedic conditions. During her pediatric clinical rotation at Shriners Hospital, Samantha developed her passion for orthopedics. She then transferred to a local hospital, where she worked in the orthopedic unit for 7 years. It was here that Samantha began caring for adults pre- and post-operatively for total joint replacements, as well as traumatic and fragility fractures.
In 2019, Samantha obtained her orthopedic nurses certification through the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses (NAON). She obtained her master’s of science in nursing, also from Chamberlain University, in 2021 and is a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Prior to joining Advanced Bone and Joint, Samantha worked in a chiropractic clinic, administering orthobiologic injections for arthritis patients and evaluating their outcomes. She also worked as a SNFist, providing primary care to patients in residential and nursing facilities.
