Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner for Dr. Anthony Frisella

Adina joined Advanced Bone & Joint in 2023 as a Nurse Practitioner working in collaboration with Dr. Anthony Frisella. She evaluates and provides care for patients experiencing orthopedic issues of the shoulders and elbows.

Adina is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.  She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005 from the University of Missouri – St. Louis, where she graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the international honor society of nurses, Sigma Theta Tau. Adina started her nursing career caring for post-operative and critically ill patients at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis on the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit.

She went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University in 2014. She discovered her love for orthopedics during her clinical rotation with Dr. Frisella’s team at Advanced Bone & Joint. Prior to returning to Advanced Bone & Joint, Adina practiced as a Nurse Practitioner in both Hospitalist and Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine settings.

Adina finds significant reward in getting to know each of her patients and working toward optimal wellness and function. When not at the clinic, she is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her husband and two sons.
